Fits 2014 Subaru Forester with Original Equipment Wiper Blades

We have a 2014 Subaru Forester with original front wiper blades. Subaru no longer sells rubber pieces, only replacement blades. The new devices are made entirely of plastic and look cheap, but they are expensive. I didn't want to throw away the good part so I looked for refill packs. I saved $40 compared to buying Subaru parts! 8mm wide x 26" long rubber tips fits 2014 Forester with ORIGINAL wiper blades. If you have completely replaced the original blades with plastic blades, these may not fit. Installation Tips: Locate the rubber end with an edge that prevents it from slipping out. On this Pull the end to remove the old rubber. There are two grooves, one for the metal strips and the other for the tabs that hold the rubber. The thin metal strips are reused, but before you remove the metal make sure you know which groove which is. Make sure the bend orientation of the metal strips matches the orientation of the blade. The ends of the rubber bandage are not identical. Start by inserting the non-protruding end into the groove that will hold it in the blade assembly. Take taking the time to insert the new rubber into the lugs to get the correct groove, the passenger side needs to go ahead trimmed prior to insertion, use the old one as a guide and add an extra 1/4 inch for shrinkage; You can fine tune the length after inserting the slider into the blade. Having just received them I don't know how long they will last. Even if I replace them annually, I'm better off than Subaru parts.
