The sound is good, but the shape of the headphones is not very effective for bone conduction headphones. The idea behind this is not to cover the ear but to place them in front of the ear where they can still be heard well and where you can also hear things around you. The headphones didn't sit right over the bone in front of my ears because the angle wasn't right. They won't twist to stay over the bone. I tried a set from Apple and they were great but expensive. I thought this would save me money but as they don't fit properly I won't be using them anymore. Regarding charging, make sure you hold down the power button until you hear the "Power off" message, as they don't turn off automatically after a period of inactivity. I went to use it the next day and had to charge it.
