I bought this scale a year ago and didn't use it much until recently. Shortly after I started using it regularly, it stopped turning on. I checked the adapter, tried using the battery but no luck. I contacted customer service and let them know because I had 1 year (just 1 month) left from the date of purchase so I was still under warranty. They responded within a day or two and sent a new scale free of charge. It just arrived and works perfectly. Only time will tell, but I think this one will last a lot longer than the previous one. They sew to have good weights and be very precise.
