There is no manual for the Nikon D3300, it is intended to improve the documentation. You can sort it with difficulty

My first remote control. I played around with it for a few days trying to find settings that would make it work with my Nikon D3300. According to the order page, it should work with my camera, but it didn't. The manual doesn't say anything about my Nikon settings that I might need, so I've tried a lot to no avail. Direct connection or wireless connection with any number of camera settings just doesn't work. There is no support number in the manual to call. So I checked the AODELAN webpage and under support they have a pdf of the user manual, that's it. However, in the "Contact Us" section, they have a person to contact by phone and email (in China). I don't know if he speaks English so I emailed him. Although it took a few days to find out if it works with the Nikon D3300, the Nikon settings MUST be set to the AODELAN wireless remote control. On the Nikon D3300 these settings are on the back next to the trash can (see page 6 of the D3300 manual, see attached image). If you set AODELAN to "S", then to "S", if to "C", then Nkon should be set to "C", if AODELAN to "Timer" (bottom left corner of the LCD), then Nikon D3300 should also be set to Release. Mode” (either "Delayed Response” or "Quick-Release Remote”). I set the shutter speed to slow because I want to take night shots of the Milky Way, so the AODELAN remote timer behaves strangely when taking photos. The shutter doesn't seem to close until I press the AODELAN remote again (twice) to close the shutter. At runtime (remote timer mode) it seems to work strangely, so now I just need to figure out which settings match what I think the manual says. Actually, you need to update the manual for different camera models. , with screenshots. Need much more detailed instructions on how to set the timer mode (Delay, Long, Interval and Number - to set the number, BKLN must be set to "OFF" on the remote control).
