I bought this watch for my daughter for Christmas, often look at watches on Amazon and have a good collection. As she did so, she asked me if she could find one to have. To introduce her to a hobby I enjoy, we spent time searching and she settled on this watch. On Christmas day she was so happy and so proud when someone came during the day she said 'look at my watch, look at my watch.' and with every wow from friends and family her smile got bigger BUT! it took 1 week to see such a beautiful watch the strap is nothing but rubbish. Within a week he lost the strap's slide loop and the strap itself is horribly torn. IN A WEEK... And now that you're buying a new band. I have never had this problem and am so disappointed that the first watch she chooses for herself does this. If you buy this watch, especially as a gift, buy a quality strap and replace it before giving the watch as a gift. If you are buying for yourself I would personally skip this brand and stick with the ones you know. EDIT: Well my daughter's smile is back, she chose her favorite blue bracelet and she loves the watch even more. When the guy with the watch said you wanted to keep the original strap we laughed and said throw it in the trash where it belongs.
