This coat was everything I wanted and needed in a winter coat! Super warm and stylish! The fur-lined hood protects against icy winds or can be used as a scarf with the zip. It was long enough to cover my bum and mid-thigh (I'm an X2 size large) and it blocked the wind like a solid wall. After receiving it in the mail, I put it on and immediately started overheating. So you can wear a light sweater or long-sleeved shirt underneath and not catch a cold. BUT the pockets are JOKE E. I was so frustrated that these pockets do NOT keep hands warm and are not very big. The phone pocket is so small that I could use it as a pen holder. I just put my gloves in the side pockets along with my car keys. So! If you want something that will keep you warm and roast you in a blizzard, this is the coat for you and its stylist himself! The color of my fur was burgundy, but more red than purple. TO UPDATE! This coat is dry clean, ONLY do not machine wash or tumble dry! The hair dryer melts the fur collar around the hood, turning it into a tangled nightmare. I managed to comb it a bit so it didn't look terrible and some of the metal ends for the drawstrings that tighten the hood fell off, including some buttons here and there. So you have been warned.
