I like this design. On the other hand, with USB-A ports, view them to connect larger devices, which can then reside behind your Mac. Not to mention the HDMI port is on the same side as the USB-A ports, so everything faces the back of your Mac neatly. The finish on this adapter is very nice and the build tolerances are excellent. This nifty adapter even slips easily into your MacBook sleeve to take with you to a coffee shop or on a trip. They did a great job and everything works very well. I hope Satechi can release the same design but add USB 3.1 Gen 2 ports. If so, I'll be the first to buy it.
