Cute but doesn't work. Literally all heat, moisture, water, everything goes right through them as you would expect, they're just a piece of felt like you don't have a napkin. They don't protect the table at all. You can't clean them like they say either, I have cheese sauce on them, it soaks into the fabric because there's no protection against liquids so you can't pull anything out, it's like going through the whole thing. If like me you're looking for something that won't let water through, just buy some of those cheap plastic wipes with a thick pad underneath like a baby wipe, water can't go through and won't get hot.
