I've bought this keyboard twice, for two different iPads (one for work, one for personal use). I can't tell you how long the battery lasts, but I've had the newest for over a year and still haven't had to charge it (I use my iPad maybe twice a week and on long flights). It's extremely protective, I like that it's easy to set up and that the keyboard lights up in different colors when you're working on a dark airplane or in a dark room. People often ask about my tiny Apple laptop, but it's just my iPad(s) and this case.
