I need a ring light for occasional use on video calls or for selfies. I didn't need a light with all the bells and whistles. I didn't need anything heavy and durable. It was just for basic use. For my purposes, that light came on. Otherwise it would be a disappointment. The stand for this flashlight is terribly thin. It works well if you only use it a couple of times a month, or it would be fine if you want to install it permanently somewhere where it's not likely to be a bother. Although faint, I was impressed by how many angles the light can be adjusted. It has the ability to tilt all the way and I found it really handy for taking photos of myself and using that light to see makeup better. The light itself looks and feels cheap and plasticky, but if you're interested in the light it produces, it's no big deal. The lighting options with this are great. It can be very bright, which is my favorite setting, or rather dim when you need it. It's good to have three options: white, yellow and warm yellow to give you more control. Overall I think this is a great budget option for those who want a ring light. It comes with neat accessories and is good for casual use.
