This set is good for colored weather. Pink is a much lighter pink (more of a pale pink) than a more neutral tan like the pink pictured online here. It doesn't bother me too much as I like light pinks, but I was expecting a pink like this. The hat and mittens fit very well, nice and snug but not uncomfortable. The scarf is long and can be worn in many ways. The fabric is quite scratchy against the skin, which is mostly a problem with a scarf as most scarves touch the skin on the neck, but it can be worn around a coat for extra warmth. With a hat, this isn't such a big problem if the facial hair is loose. Finally I found that the mittens don't feel that itchy and are actually quite comfortable as the skin on the hands is not as sensitive as the skin on the neck.
