If you are familiar with Chinese household products, you know that they often come with complicated assembly instructions. The thread is torn, there are no holes for drilling and other headaches. All I had to do to assemble this was open the zippered pocket at the bottom, pull out the four legs and screw them into the perfectly placed holes. No fuss, no fuss. And the bottom zip pocket is great for storage. Now my most important documents are kept in a fireproof envelope in this zippered compartment. What kind of thief would look under the couch? Unexpected bonus! I'm only taking off one star because I think the upper could have been a higher density foam.
