Almost got it back but learned how to use it

It's hard to figure out how to use this thing at first. It can be used non-contact if kept within 1cm, but it's just easier to touch the forehead. While holding the button to check the temperature, you must release the button after the beep but before removing it from your forehead. Once it starts reading the temperature, it will beep about every second, and each beep is a new reading. If you still hold the button down when you remove it from your forehead, it will continue to beep and will now read the air temperature. If you hold it down and press the button with your thumb, it's actually a bit difficult to stop the press before you move your hand back. I find that I have to stop moving my hand to raise my thumb and then move my hand back. I can't do it in one smooth motion yet. The instructions are not very good. Says after the beep to remove from the forehead. But nowhere in the instructions does it say to stop pressing the button, much less stop pressing the button before removing it from your forehead. The instructions suggest you have a reading as soon as it beeps. They don't tell you that he makes statements all the time. Since we were getting room temperature readings instead of forehead temperature readings, the readings only showed "Lo". The troubleshooting guide is terrible. If your reading shows "Lo", the troubleshooting guide says the temperature reading is below 32°C/89.6F, but it doesn't offer advice on possible solutions.
