Review on πŸ’‘ Revolutionizing Gene Cooler Heatsinks: Next-Gen Advancements by Kyle Awasthi

Great if you have space it can be difficult to apply.

I have a Zenith Extreme motherboard for Threadripper and I ordered two of them for ROG Dimm where NVME drives are connected. For my motherboard in particular, it's a good fit due to its proximity to the RAM dimmer, and I can only (barely) fit one of them. But it's my fault for not measuring first. The surface against the RAM works well, the Samsung 970 pro NVME drive underneath stays very cool despite being sandwiched very hard between ATX power. I appreciate the cloths provided, one wet and one dry, but it would be nice to clarify if the sticker on the driver needs to be removed before use. However, I chose to remove the sticker from the disc before cleaning and applying it. I had a hard time getting the thermal pad to hold everything together without slipping off and resting on the ATX power next to it. Luckily I never turned on the computer during the process. Not sure how much orientation and the decision to remove the sticker goes into this, but after wearing it all night it seems to be holding up, but I have to check it regularly. I connected the fan to the advanced fan controller that comes with the motherboard and the thermistor cable next to the NVME PCB and everything seems to be working fine. As they are expensive I would have liked a stronger adhesive but overall I was very happy with them even though I can only fit one on my case. For others with the same motherboard, I used a DRAM cooler to cool both the DDR4 and NVME drives on the opposite side of the figure, which seems adequate, but in addition to the DRAM cooler of a subtle (very thin) thermal timing would benefit fans, which frightened him. I will review DRAM coolers though and am concerned that they will rip off the slot, but I still put the less expensive Evo memory per GB in the less cooled slot, use this product on a Pro and another Pro in an NVME heatsink on the corner of the board under the screws.

Cons
  • Questionable purchase for older people
