This is a really good sealed shower enclosure for recessed lighting in the shower or wet areas where you don't want indoor air getting into the gaps between floors or onto the roof . Real Fresnel glass, not cheap plastic, looks good and feels a bit retro. There is a gasket/washer on the outer ring that forms an airtight seal with drywall or tile. This is a finish only, not a full lamp. The price varies by seller, so buy a lot. Only $12 is a good price. Closer to $20 seems overpriced. For some reason 4 inch baffles are more expensive than 6 inch baffles. I wanted an airtight seal for the recessed lighting in the kitchen, so I didn't leave that alone. Instead, I chose the Nora Lighting NS 76 open shower enclosure without glass, but if I needed it for a shower, it would be my first choice.
