I needed an affordable system to correct shots at 1000 yards. This camera system definitely does it with ease. The program is simple and functional. An unforeseen bonus was that when you lift the tablet to point the camera, the tablet automatically connects to the nearest Wi-Fi module. Go back to the shooting range and it will connect to the receiver without having to fiddle with the settings. As I love compact and useful gear, I found the "luxury carry case" to be over the top with a huge amount of unnecessary foam. . The tripods that come with it are huge too. So since I don't see things as they are but as what I can make of them, I ordered a pair of compact camera tripods, a dual camera mount and a ball joint. This allowed me to firmly install this system and eliminate that ridiculous flexing/jamming/snaking thing, which Caldwell said was sufficient. Other reviewers complained about the durability of this camera attachment. The tripods I bought allow me to spread their legs for more stability and I can run line from their center hooks to a post in the ground in windy conditions. Overall, I like the Caldwell system for the reliability of the Wi-Fi modules, the clarity of the camera, the simplicity of the software, and the range. I'm deducting a star because I had to redesign the mounting system to make it more compact, stable, and portable.
