Fantastic for raw black hair
My daughter is natural but lately she's been craving hair that flutters and wiggles and lays flat. I tried the flat iron with good results but it couldn't get close enough to the root to remove the volume and puffiness. I decided to try an electric hot comb. It goes straight to the roots and does an excellent job of smoothing them out. I can't recommend it highly enough. Also, she flinched only twice, as opposed to the usual twitching and hissing iron.
