I needed this to replace a similar one which broke after only 1 year. The one I broke was a double head and the broken part was a hand mount. This shower head is not the same design, so at least I get rid of this problem. The cord is long enough to wash the shower/bathtub and even bathe pets. However, if your pets are small, you will likely be more comfortable with a longer hose. I've never seen them come with a longer hose so I guess that's the standard size. This is the easiest to install, it actually takes a few minutes. It comes with tape in case you need it. If it leaks, take it off and use duct tape. Make sure to wrap the ribbon in the same direction that you screw the piece. This will prevent the tape from sticking together when installed. If you don't need the tape, keep it. You always feel like you need those things badly when you don't have them! It has 6 spray modes but I never change mine. I can use the massage setting when my back hurts and remember I have that option when my back hurts. I think one of the best things about this particular design is that it's only 1 manual head which makes cleaning a lot easier. . You can take it off the mount and soak it in some vinegar in a cup, or even unscrew the handle and pour in some CLR if minerals show on it. Great article.
