Review on Johnny The Bouncy Horse: A Fun And Safe Hopping Experience For Toddlers In Yellow by Pauly Blake

Beware of Sizes . Different animals may be larger or much smaller than you need for your child.

Originally had a hot pink rhino and a green rhino for my girls (2 & 5 yrs old) but, after tons of use, the green rhino tore in a weak spot. When I looked for another green rhino, they had nothing but hot pink . and two little girls with the same color rhino wasn't going to work, so I opted for the green horse. Well, the horse is MUCH smaller than the rhino. The rhino's head sticks out from the body, essentially taking no space up on the backside where the child sits to ride, so you get about 15-18 inches of sitting area. But, the horses head protrudes upwards from the body (which makes sense, otherwise it wouldn't look like a horse) but that means you lose about 8 inches of sitting room on the backside of the horse. The horse is also about 4-5 inches shorter than the rhino. I guess what I'm getting at is that it would be nice if all the inflatable animals came in more than one size . maybe make each slightly bigger for every few years? The horse really is only good for a small kid, probably no more than 3 yrs old. The rhino is good for a good-sized 3yr old and up. My problem is that the green horse was a replacement for my 5 yr old and I had very little other options at the time I looked for a replacement. Now, her horse is small for her, hard to ride, and probably best for a 2-3 yr old. Oh well . Maybe in a year or two I'll get them both the bigger jumping balls.

Pros
  • My two year old loves bouncing on this hopper!
Cons
  • May pose a choking hazard if small parts become detached
