Works Well: Sculpture Accessories

This is a resin casting epoxy kit. In the kit you get two 8 oz bottles labeled A and B. You mix the resin together in equal volumes. Then you have 40 minutes of working time before it starts to harden. Full curing takes about 24 hours. I have successfully used this epoxy for a resin casting project. The resin has dried out, no problem. There were blisters, but that was to be expected. The epoxy smelled, but not much. To avoid stickiness or softness when mixing the resin, it is recommended to mix for a full 5 minutes. Also note that silicone cups often do poorly when measuring small amounts if you don't calibrate them. I found that the 50ml line on my silicone cups actually contained 65ml, resulting in a 30% error when measuring the epoxy placed in the same cup. I calibrated the glass with a digital scale. Now I get good results with epoxy. Overall, this epoxy works well and is a good choice for resin casting.
