So we just received a new Samsung fridge with a simple Samsung filter. The water here in San Diego tastes pretty bad. Even with the Samsung filter, it tasted chalky and frankly inedible. I had to throw out a cup of green tea because of the harsh taste of hard water. Unfortunately, due to this type of filter, only a few manufacturers produce its advanced filter version. Luckily the Crystala filter made the water safe to drink again. Pure water taste versus mineral, chalky chlorine taste with Samsung filter. So happy it worked.
