Review on Renewed Samsung Galaxy S8+ Maple Gold 64GB Fully Unlocked by Swami Nathan ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

I'm not completely satisfied with the product.

Yes, the screen is pink. I personally don't care. The screen is quite a pleasant warm shade, it is much better than pure white. The screen size is debatable. It is believed that more information is placed on it. But during operation, I still appreciated the advantage of the past screen standards. The closer to the book format (for example, 3x4), the easier it is to read. Movies are all in 16:9 resolution. You will not see any frames when watching a movie, because on this type of screen, black areas are not highlighted and visually it seems that there is nothing there. But it is more convenient to watch movies on the S7 EDGE and it seems to be more there. If someone is thinking whether to change S7 EDGE to this phone, or not, then my opinion is not worth it. But if you switch from something else, then you will be delighted with the phone (autonomy may be confused)

Pros
  • The camera is the best on the market. Image clarity is inferior to "multi-pixel" phones in good light, but the picture as a whole cannot be compared with other flagships. Like the previous model, it pulls a hard drive, keyboard and flash drive (via a connector) You can even connect a mouse, but it's useless .) Beautiful phone. Looks very good in black. Feels more comfortable in the hand than the S7 Edge. No accidental clicks. The system is powerful and nimble, it pulls everything: navigators, large text documents, service applications that are not very optimized. Everything is fine, except for one "But", which is described in the shortcomings. Assembly without complaints, and what flaws in the assembly of a sealed case can?
Cons
  • Ranked by importance: -The battery is very bad. The phone in standby mode (when it is in your pocket or on the table) constantly loses several percent of the battery charge per hour. In the "Airplane" mode, it will lose 1%, and in normal mode 2-3%. With poor signal quality, there is more loss. The mode I use is 2g / 3g. Even turning off all the synchronization and other delights of the smartphone, the charge will still go away! Moreover, if you turn on Olways on Display, then consumption will increase by 1-1.5% per hour, which is quite insignificant. What is the charge going to? - Bixby! -The system itself (shell) is even visually much slower than on the S7 edge. Small friezes when opening the menu are clearly visible and striking. Whether it's the fault of the shell, or it's the fault of the 7th Android. But I haven't seen it anywhere else. This frieze is found in all my friends (who have this phone), but not everyone notices it. -The rounding of the screen (the ratio of the length of the arc and the radius) in my opinion is less here than on the S7 edge. This is my subjective opinion. -There is no sense in the energy saving modes, except for the "extreme power saving" mode, in which only the display and the radio module remain operational from the entire smartphone. -Different resolutions in which the display can work do not affect autonomy in any way. I didn't notice any difference in image quality either. It may seem to you that it changes, but in fact the screen may just blink slightly (this happens very quickly, almost imperceptibly) when you switch the slider to the highest resolution mode, but the image quality changes only in autosuggestion. It's also my subjective opinion. (It is clear that pixels cannot be considered, it’s just a question of the appropriateness of this chip, if it does not affect autonomy, and the difference is not visible to the eye) -Fingerprint sensor away. True, very far. -The black body is terribly blurry. I do wash my hands often though. -Samsung never figured out what to do with the Tasks Edge feature. Maybe it's worth looking at the solution from Blackberry (Blackberry Hub)?
