Look, I know, kids have to tie their shoes. We can all agree on that. These laces can turn laced shoes into slip-on shoes that don't need tying. We can practice the tying, but we have ball practice to get to.The plastic clips that come with these didn't last long on my son's shoes. When placed on the inside, he said they bothered his foot. Placed on the outside they broke off after a week of running around. We just decided to tie the laces in a knot up front, works great and makes leaving the house a breeze.I'm not sure if these laces would be great for basketball shoes as you kind of need a snug fit for sports, but they are friggin awesome for kids.
