Although advertised as 'reading glasses', they are not available by prescription. Lenses magnify the image, but if you really need reading glasses, they won't fit, as text is blurry for most people. However, they have really good frames, which is why I bought them. I will ask my optician to change the lenses as per my prescription. These frames can easily cost a hundred dollars or more, so this is a good frame deal. Unfortunately, the hanger only comes in one size, so if you need a tall person, say a 148 or 150 hanger, it won't fit perfectly. However, I found that I could slightly straighten the ends of the temples so they fit perfectly.
