Review on Chaco Ecotread Toddler Little Grenadine Girls' Shoes: Stylish and Sustainable Footwear for Young Explorers by Nathan Pintac

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Excellent quality; run big. Not for every foot but amazing when they work!

My 11 year old daughter loves them! They are really big - she wears a size 4 tennis shoes but had to swap them out for a size 3 so you can go down a size. The length of the 4th model was not very long, but the location of the rigid instep was not suitable for her foot. I was a little frustrated that I now had to scale her down to a length that fits her leg exactly as I knew she couldn't grow into it, but I didn't have a choice due to the position of the arch. It took some adjustments to get the straps right, but through trial and error around the house, she settled them into a comfortable fit. Daytime activities or summer camps, they're great. And some of her friends are very fond of wearing them on their hikes, so maybe some feet will suit them better. My daughter's feet are narrow and a little wide on her but still work well. A note to Chaco if they're listening: PLEASE MAKE THE CHILD SIZES BLACK ONLY! Thanks. hahaha

Pros
  • My kid loved her
Cons
  • The seams on the sandals are not strong and tear easily.
