I finally hung these lights just a day before our electrician showed up to disconnect the old handle and pipe wiring that was powering the existing basement lighting. All it needed were a couple of screw grommets (for attaching carabiners) and small hooks (for holding the extra length of fun yellow cord connecting the lights). It came out great! The LED bulbs in these connected lights are much brighter than expected, making them ideal for kicking the scary factor out of my dirty attic basement. If you're looking for lights to add ambience to your patio while you sit and chat by the fire, these aren't the lights for you. If you have a basement, shed, attic or garage workshop where you need lots of light in an "unfinished" space then this is ideal.
