I wanted a retro style radio and it fits perfectly. It's cute - very small, about 7 inches wide and 5 inches tall, not counting the handle. The antennae extend about 12 inches. I used it with mains lead, not with batteries. Transistor quality sound, so if you're looking for depth of sound, this won't satisfy. The volume on/off button works smoothly and is not always easy to turn due to its smoothness. The radio needle is a little hard to see unless you have good light - I tune in to my favorite station and leave it - it's too hard for my tired old eyes to try and scan the stations. I'm happy with it in the corner where it is, but in time I'll replace it with a better sounding radio. This is a good little radio for a small price.
