Well made carrying case, great range of bright colors BUT mold on brush tips

Pros: These dual-tipped markers come in a variety of attractive colors, both bright and muted tones. The bag is well made and slips easily into a backpack, large bag or briefcase. The 1mm thick nibs are great for coloring tiny intricate areas or writing in magazines or anything else. The 4mm diameter tips are good for large areas such as backgrounds and for mixing colors to achieve the desired tones. I've used mine on paper and rocks. I have had satisfactory results on all surfaces. Not so good: However, these markers have a major disadvantage. Mine came with mold on the ends of the brushes. I looked at the first one and there was a little fungal stain on it. While I didn't like it, I didn't find it a serious downside. Then I took off a few more and the stains got serious! Eight of my new markers had debris growing on the tip of the brush. Needless to say I'm not happy. 3.5 stars Some of mine were also slightly creased in the middle. Again, no serious imperfection; but better quality control would make customer service more enjoyable. I bought these markers because I have this brand in different sets and was happy with the performance and durability of other markers. The enthusiastic reviews were also decisive. However, the abundance of mold on mine is disappointing. This set will not be on my back order list.
