Very buttery smooth.
It still has that self-tanning smell to it though it's not as bad as others. It does have a beautiful tanning color, however it was a tiny bit streaky even with the mitt and exfoliating. I use the lavender mousse. I think I'm going to try the tanning mist next. I seem to have more luck with the mists. Love this brand though, it's absolutely one of the best I've come by.
