Review on ๐Ÿฎ Pyrex 6 Ounce Custard Cups Set: Premium Food Service Equipment & Supplies by Muleme Bollinger

Revainrating 3 out of 5

They don't look like the original Pyrex bowls

I had a set of vintage 6 ounce Pyrex bowls that had been in my family for over 60 years are. Bowls have served countless desserts over the years. I had the last two when I (unfortunately) broke one and decided to remove the other before it broke too. I needed an exact replacement so I figured it would be worth paying for a real Pyrex. The new innards are much thicker and much less elegant than the old shells, and are made rather crudely (probably in China). Yes, I am disappointed. They're thick and heavy, but should be strong enough, although heavy as they are, I'm sure they'll probably snap the first time they fall. "They don't make them the way they used to" That's for sure.

Pros
  • Pyrex glass is made in the USA and carries a 2 year guarantee
Cons
  • Disappears
