Works well with brake and taillight assemblies, parts and accessories

These lamps work great and definitely did the job. The only reason I didn't give them five stars is because they didn't come with screws, instructions, or a template to cut holes. These lights must be embedded in the trailer. I built my trailer and had to cut holes in the back of the trailer. It would have been a lot easier if they just included a paper template I could use to mark the holes to cut. So it took me an extra 30 minutes to create the pattern. I ended up using a cheap school compass to trace a circle on a piece of cardboard the same diameter as the hole I wanted and then I cut out our circle so I could trace it around the back of my trailer. I mean how much would it cost them to include a paper template? It also comes with red, black, and white wires, which are different from the standard yellow and green wiring harness, so I didn't know which wire went where. I had to search the internet for what each wire requires. Red, black, and white are standard colors for these types of devices, but it would be nice if they only included instructions for those of us who don't make a living from them. Again I wasted another 30 minutes or so because there were no directions. I would happily pay another ten cents for the device to get the chart and instructions. For those of you who don't know, the red wire goes to solid green on one side of the trailer and the green wire on the other side of the trailer. The black wire goes to the brown striped wire. White goes down. Do you understand? How difficult would it be for them to just include a small piece of paper listing that information? The device has a black frame that requires screws but are not included. Black screws are hard to find so I had to buy black paint and paint the mounting screws to match the frame. That meant I had to go to the store to get it ready. Another waste of my time. I'd happily pay a few bucks more for the lights if they came with a small set of screws that could be used for a variety of purposes. Otherwise the light is excellent.

Pros
  • WITH THREE-WIRE: White wire is ground; Red wire - high brightness; Black wire has low brightness
Cons
  • Some issues
