I connected it to the USB car. He grabbed my phone and let go when I tried to pull my phone out. The second time I plugged the phone in, it kept opening and closing. Finally he picked up the phone. After that it wouldn't let go. I unplugged it from the USB and used the port in the armrest and let it go. The next time I got in the car, it wasn't drawing power from any of the USB ports. I connected the Apple cable directly and the USB ports are now idle. I had to stop the car and restart it. I ended up just pulling the phone out when it was closed. Really bad build. Both USB ports now work perfectly with Apple cables.
