UPDATE: 12/12/2020: We finally finished this apartment building after 4 years! It held up so well for so long that I ordered another one and had it installed this summer. It works just as well as the original and oddly jumps out of the same corner as the old one. Maybe the problem is just my tight cats! We've again layered a heavy hiking blanket over it for the winter chills and two additional lighter blankets underneath for added warmth. I have high hopes that this will last as long as the first! ORIGINAL REVIEW: I put this in my deck for my outdoor cats and they love it. For five people it's like an apartment house and they are very happy. So far we haven't had any major problems with disconnecting hoses. The one that often gets undone is the small middle corner. I don't know if we mixed up the tubes or if they're just a little shorter than they should be, but if the cats jump to the top of this cabinet too often, the tube on the right will pop out. It doesn't matter, I just know that I have to check it every time I go outside. I also covered the whole thing with a large blanket as the nights got a little cooler just to keep the chill out. The ceiling is quite heavy and the whole tower holds up well under it. I would recommend this tower to all cat lovers who need a place for their pets to play and rest.
