This is just my opinion. I had almost the same shirt from another brand that I couldn't find anymore. This one has exactly the same details, just a different name. The material could be a little lighter, but for less than $13 I wasn't expecting the top quality from the brand. I washed and trimmed the threads. (We have seamstresses in the family, so this was nothing new.) I usually buy a medium shirt if it's non-shrinkable material and a large shirt if it's 100% cotton, but other fisherman shirts have been large. So I have a medium in it. Mine is a little tight after washing. Conclusion: I had to stick with my usual habit and order a large size. It's 100% cotton; so it does shrink a bit, it needs to be ironed to make it look really sharp, it has no UV rating. I know other companies make great 100% cotton fishing shirts that cost 2-3x more than this one. I own one or two of these. That's in my budget right now. I hope it helps.
