Review on Soke Pencil Premium Trifold Protection by Gabe Ries

I bought this case at the recommendation of another reviewer. I've been using Fintie cases for my iPads for years and really like them, but I've found that they usually only last about a year before they wear out and I need to replace them (I use my iPad a lot). When my Fintie fell off the table and broke the corner of the plastic case (where the pencil was inside), I thought maybe I'd try something new. This case definitely feels strong and protective, but it also feels heavy. I took out the iPad and weighed the empty case on a kitchen scale and it was only 2 ounces heavier than my old Fintie case. It doesn't sound like much, but it's enough to make you seriously consider returning the case. If I keep it for a long time or even just for a short time, I can definitely feel the difference. In the end I decided to keep the case and not suffer from returning and looking for something else. One of the strengths of the iPad Air line is that it's lighter and thinner than the standard iPad. I think this case offsets that weight saving. But if you don't hold your iPad that much, or if protection is more important to you than weight, then this case is for you.
