I wrote a glowing review for the Holo Chunky Glitter, but this Opal Chunky Glitter didn't live up to expectations. First, the color set isn't that great or distinctive. All opalescent colors are saturated. it's just a little touch of color. Second, I was very disappointed that the glitter didn't have many clean hexagonal "pieces" (unlike their Holographic Chunky Glitter, which has many large, clean, distinctive hexagonal pieces as well as a balance of small, tiny hexagonal glitters). . Instead, most of that glitter appears to be just glitter splinters. I could almost feel the glitter being thrown into the mill. It could only be my party. Finally, what annoys me is that the 5 (blue, green, purple, and silver) glitter colors seem to have dark black spots. I think it's done on purpose to add volume to the mix, but it just looks like dirt in my resin. I don't believe in "opal" is black. Fairy (white) Opal is the best of this batch, followed by Champagne and beautiful Pink Opal. After that, after initial testing, I haven't used any of the others because they don't appear "clean" in my resin. Good price and easy to use, just not a very good sequin set in my opinion.
