Assembly is easy, but it's much easier for two people than for one. Verify that the package contains two hardware packages. One of them will leave you some mounts. When assembled, the stools are quite comfortable. The seat has a slight slope at the junction between the bottom of the seat and the backrest. Please see photo. I feel so lean when I lean back in my chair to use the backrest. I don't find it uncomfortable, but I'm aware of it. The only ergonomic flaw I see is the short footrest. I have to bend my knees a lot to use it. While it's fine for short rides, it got a little tiring after sitting for over an hour. In terms of features, everything works well and as expected. The pin that connects the stand to the seat is gas pressurized so it works well. Finding the height you want is simple and straightforward. The seats also rotate easily. We are very happy with these chairs, as are happy customers. My only advice would be for the manufacturer to consider a longer footpeg for future production.
