The non-lace shorts ride up, the lace shorts do not
I bought the regular black shorts and they rode up badly and were uncomfortable to wear around under a dress. I ordered a pair with the lace on the legs in the same size and it stayed put and was much more comfortable. I bought a medium and am 5`3, 145 lbs with a curvey bottom half.
