"Clip on " more like "fall off "
The clips on these don't hold on well (even on thick garments like a hi-viz road vest). You have to twist them on and off and that further increases the chances of them coming loose and dropping off. They are bright, lightweight, and simple devices, but for many applications they are too cheaply made and attach to weakly to be of use, especially for running/walking. Look elsewhere for your solution.
