Not 100% smooth/seamless but gets the job done

NEXT 3 MONTHS: I originally rated this 3 stars, now downgraded to 1. As mentioned, I have always had and still have some difficulties screwing filters into the adapter. The reason I lowered this value to one is that I had the adapter's FALL OFF filter in a studio setting. I don't run, shoot or swing my camera, I just carry it on my shoulder strap. I screwed my filter all the way in (only about a full turn) but it came loose and fell right off me as I walked through the studio. After using this boost adapter for 1 month, I bought 2 packs of $8 boost adapters. My filters screw into cheap adapters with no problem and have not fallen off after 2 months of use. I bought an adapter from 67mm to 72mm. I'm in the Sony ecosystem so I bought this to adapt the filters I have for my Sony 70-200/f4 to the Tamron 28-75/f2.8. My three filters (VND, CPL and UV) screw in perfectly up to 70-200, very smooth and dense. When screwing the filter into the adapter, however, things don't quite go smoothly. My UV filter fits best, it started out smooth, but after a few turns it got a little harder to turn. When you walk past it it became very unstable, similar to a hinge that is lubricated unevenly, it was easy to rotate and then suddenly difficult and easy to rotate again etc. I don't think my VND actually fits in the adapter as I can't get it to spin more than one full revolution before it gets stuck. As you can see in the picture, the VND (top) has a large gap between the base of the adapter and the UV filter (bottom) has a very small gap. The 67mm side that bolts to the lens worked well, it's smooth throughout and stays there.
