This Solo New York Downtown Grand TSA travel backpack is perfect for me when I travel - by plane or on the road - and lug around a large laptop along with tablets and other electronics I need to work efficiently be filled and securely fastened. It has enough padding throughout that you need when carrying around large 17.3-inch laptops. Although some reviewers claim it's not very roomy due to the padding, I don't think that's true. It's probably one of the roomiest laptop backpacks of its size that I've ever owned, especially as it comfortably fits even a 17.3-inch laptop and has enough space for lots of other stuff. in doing double duty as a day off. I LOVE the fact that it has extra padding (you NEED that when traveling with electronics and IMO most backpacks don't usually come close enough to be effective) so IMO YMMV fits the bill perfectly , depending on your needs. However, I can easily fit tablets, my DSLR, a large laptop, cables, laptops and a change of clothes or two. simultaneously). This isn't just a "backpack," it's a specially designed "all-in-one" model that lets you store everything you need - electronics and more - in one place. This bag has plenty of zipped compartments to keep all your belongings organized, including the outside for easy access to items like your phone. The straps are solid and very strong and everything about them is well built and sturdy with no flaws. If you use this backpack for travel, it's comfortable enough to carry around for long periods without putting too much strain on your back, and I love the breathable mesh panels on the back. An additional feature I REALLY appreciate about this backpack. This is an additional strap on the back that can be used with a telescopic handle with other luggage. I was able to put it on my Samsonite case and slide the telescoping handle through this strap to securely attach and exit. It's SO satisfying when you're trying to hop around airports, changing flights, etc. I travel a lot (both by plane and road) so it's important to me and makes traveling a little bit easier for me. Overall this is a really good weekend bag that can easily fit large laptops and electronics without sacrificing too much space for a few change of clothes. The gray color is unisex and easy to mix and match, and it's a very well constructed bag that's particularly great for travel. Definitely two thumbs up from me!
