Excellent headlights. I have used them in my pantry and linen closet. It's like a fridge light in a pantry. I set it to automatic and it turns on fairly quickly when I open the door, not always immediately but close enough. Read the instructions for gluing the metal plate. It says to wait 24 hours before putting the light on the metal plate. I waited 24 hours. on one, but only a few hours on the other. The one I gave a few hours fell off that night. Later I put tape on a metal plate and the magnets in the light are strong enough to hold the tape hanging from the ceiling. The one that sat for 24 hours as advertised was fine, no problem. I like that they are easy to remove. Now I have extra headlights in case of a power outage!
