A very good flash for amateurs and even professionals. Various shortcomings and inconveniences, such as backlash of the head, recessed buttons, the absence of a business card - all this, of course, is pure marketing, and this was done on purpose. Such constructive trifles could easily be eliminated at the design stage, but then this flash would begin to compete with the 580th. And competition within the same product line Canon certainly could not allow. Fortunately, all these shortcomings are not fatal for sales and work with this flash model, which, again, is very clearly thought out. Alas, one has to reckon with the modern laws of the market. :)
- Very powerful. The most correct operation of automation, because. native flash. Metal shoe. Fast reload. Excellent and correct autofocus illumination. The flash, to my surprise, even worked on an old Canon PowerShot SX20 soap box.
- The head plays, but not much - it does not affect the work in any way. I did not understand the purpose of the button for fixing the rotation of the head, everything is clearly and reliably fixed there. Inconvenient buttons, although not critical for me, I do not use them. The absence of a business card can also be a disadvantage for someone.
