12 " Flower Frenzy Template

I love all of the floral options. There are lots of ways to mix and match to create a different look with just one pattern. I use mine mostly for journaling, but also for other crafts. For example. I received a great set of craft knives but they came in a plain wooden box which is not my style. So I colored them to match my workshop and added these flowers of different colors to give it a whimsical touch But I had a hard time using a stencil for this little box because it's so big, on a small 3D object like my knife box it can't lay flat so the paint bleeds underneath. Same on the inside pages of a 5x8 mixed media art magazine And when it lays down evenly the ink or shading of a flower's border easily goes into one others over because there is no gap between some flowers. I personally like this look so it works for me. If you look closely, you'll see that most of the petals from one flower also make up the next flower. For a 12" scrapbook page, it would be great if you could be precise enough not to splash over flowers or blank spots that you don't want. I was thinking of cutting the template into smaller pieces that would also fit in my travel kit but couldn't decide where to cut. As for the complete cleaning of the stencil, I refused. I use colored pencils, inks, acrylics, oil paints, watercolors and stamp pads. Some wash well, some don't. Acrylic paints are the most difficult. They dry quickly, so they are more likely to accumulate. But I had no problems with further use. I definitely recommend this template. It has several beautiful colors and is very versatile.
