Not recommended for food storage
The outer design of the container is very stylish and sturdy BUT the vacuum sealing mechanism is just terrible. So difficult and awkward to seal it. The grip is so tight I thought I was going to break my fingers in the jar! It's also difficult enough to turn the handle when it's full, but it becomes very difficult (or almost impossible) to create a vacuum seal when the number of coffee beans in the container is low.
