Review on Damen Hastings Natural Leather Casual by Jesus Samaddar

It's a decent belt but there's nothing better than what you can get at a discount store. It's not cowhide and I've had better belts than this one. It's nicely packaged, it has a nice buckle, but it's two pieces of thin 'natural' leather glued together for strength. This is not what you need for an everyday belt. You want decent, durable cowhide or full-grain leather or even suede that will last forever or years. This is the look that ends up splitting and you'll wonder why until you learn about the different skin types. You can get a taller or full grain for a little more, so I'd give it up and look elsewhere. However, if you are looking for a gift, keep looking. Unfortunately this is a temporary solution to the belt problem my husband needs - we'll look into something else but he can wear this one for a while. looks ok It's not great.
