Very happy with this purchase. The table is very stable and very eloquent. It replaces my old IKEA desk. For the price I paid for it, I knew what I was getting. The shelf at the back of the desk for storing cords or extension cords is made of hard plastic. The holder is the same. On the sides of the table there are two holders for headphones (non-removable). So you can choose which side you want your drink holder on. Each side of the table has pre-drilled holes for a drink holder. The headphone holder isn't very good, but it will do the job. It doesn't have a large surface. The table is not big enough to put a computer and monitor on it. This is possible, but it severely limits desktop space. I put my computer on a filing cabinet next to my desk to free up space. The instructions were easy. I understand why some people had problems. Just look at the picture and it's pretty easy to see where the parts go. Pay special attention to the orientation of the rectangular bracket. There are holes on one side and that is the back of the table. These holes are for the retaining clips. All different types of screws came in separate packages. Although not numbered, the installations are accompanied by photographs. Delivery was pretty quick. I'm in California and the delivery center was also in the same state. It was also well packaged and undamaged. I did not use the computer foot stickers that came with it. I think he looks better without it. The mouse pad is fine. It follows the slight curvature of the front of the table. I had my own mouse pad and the one that came with the table I gifted to my son. The only problem someone might have with this table is that there are no threaded inserts for the screws. Threaded inserts are used on softer wood/plywood to prevent screws from loosening. I don't think this table will be a problem. It's like screwing yourself into one of those IKEA tables. A very good table for the price.
