I'm 270 and ordered a size XL. I'm also 5'7". These fit great and are very comfortable. They wear well and don't wrinkle. I resisted ordering wide leg pants for a long time because my butt and hips are pretty large. DUH, the wide leg balances the image well. I wear them to work and church, they are great for both - can dress up or down with any type of blouse. They are silky and a silky top may ride up if it's too tight over your belly and hips. I would by again and hope to get them in dark brown to round out the fall wardrobe.
