I received a 'new' straight blade and just before using it I noticed something red and something lumpy ( I'm an aerospace engineer and as such I always test items before using them, hence the nature of my work follows me through my daily duties especially when it comes to metal items. This is NOT A NEW ITEM, it was a previous return and they lied by simply repackaging the returned devices and it looks like they didn't even disinfect them, which is rude and overly unsanitary: what if someone gets sick and someone gets the device and a serious one gets sick when he thinks it's brand new as is the case with my purchase ok i checked it BEFORE USE and guys i highly recommend you to do the same. Decent straight blade holder, but I'll say something: coop and GOOD once and forget about all your shaving needs for a lifetime! Seriously, this concept of "cheaper straight blades" is a bit misleading, why to say the least?: Take 1 gillet blade from a new age 10 blade razor and then. insert it into the stainless steel bracket. Voila! This is advertised as a 'straight blade' when it isn't. I was also under the impression that the blades would at least be decent barber blades of some thickness, but no, they use the same cheap, paper-thin blades found in all multi-blade razors, maybe even worse? In general, I am very upset. with this order more like a seller who sends back used/returned/bloody/hairy devices and then repackages them as new, very questionable and quite stupid as these things can/really get bloody with people. For example, at least use a sanitizing machine that will keep them looking like new, but no, they don't! I don't know what's going on with the items at Revain these days, but I get LOTS of orders marked as USED when I buy "NEW". Products. This includes things like vitamins and other substances that people ingest, come into contact with, or consume. Folks, these problems MUST be solved or people will get sick or hurt. This wasn't the case a few years ago but the last few orders I've had were reused items that were boxed as new and this is a false scam by the sellers. Someone gets sick with AIDS or some other blood-borne disease and talks about the lawsuit that follows. Sellers do their due diligence and make items NEW or just throw them away. Note: Why are some of these razors returnable and others not? I think this clearly shows the quality control system they have, namely: NO
