I bought this for my girlfriend because she wanted a microphone just for having fun and chose this microphone for LED lighting and voice effects. We had a lot of fun singing and came up with random games that require you to use the microphone. it was the perfect gift! The only downside is that the microphone isn't very loud, but if you wrap your hands around the top the volume will be greatly improved and it won't be a big deal. the sound quality is good, the actual function of the microphone but not as a speaker to play music (never use this function) my only problem with the actual microphone is that the LED indicator broke so I reordered it to have it to try and get a full one and got one that looked exactly the same (attached photos show the new mic followed by the original mic I ordered). Again, it's no big deal and worth the price
